Drive imports

Import public Google Drive folders/files into a vector store. Queue jobs, track progress, and respect plan gating.

Availability

- Available on Advanced and Enterprise plans. Starter/Pro see an upgrade prompt.

- Requires a vector store to target. Create or import a store first.

How to import
  1. Go to Dashboard → Files and click Import from Drive.
  2. Paste a public Google Drive file or folder URL.
  3. Select the target vector store (Advanced+ can pick; Starter/Pro see gating).
  4. Optionally add a prefix to prepend to file paths.
  5. Submit to queue the job.

Job tracking

- Jobs are queued and processed asynchronously.

- Monitor status and processed file counts in Dashboard → Jobs.

- Upload results appear in Files once processing completes.

Permissions & requirements

- The Drive link must be publicly accessible or shareable; private links will fail.

- Ensure the folder/file size fits within your plan storage limit.

- Imports respect file type support; unsupported files are skipped or marked failed.

Tips & troubleshooting

- If a job stalls, check the Jobs page for error details and retry after verifying the link.

- Large folders may take time; keep the link stable and monitor processed counts.

- Use prefixes to organize imported files (e.g., faq/).
