Display & chat UX

Customize how your bot looks in chat: logo, greetings, suggested actions, show-source toggles, and visibility of the logo.

Where to find it

- Open Dashboard → Bots → select a bot.

- In the workspace left nav, click Display.

Visual identity

Logo

Upload a PNG/JPG under 2MB. Use a square aspect ratio for best fit. You can remove the logo anytime.

Hide logo

Toggle to hide the logo from the chat header. Useful when you want a minimal widget.

Greetings & prompts

Greeting title & label

Two short lines shown at the top of chat. Max 64 chars each. Leave blank to use defaults.

Suggested actions

Up to 4 quick prompts. Each has a Label and Action (message sent on click). Keep labels concise.

Show source toggles

- Toggle source display for Web, File, Tool, and MCP outputs. Enable to surface citations alongside answers.

- These toggles control visibility in chat; they don't change the retrieval behavior.

Saving & feedback

- Click Save changes to persist updates; success/error toasts will appear.

- Validation errors show inline if required fields are missing.

Tips

- Keep greetings short to avoid truncation in compact widgets.

- Use suggested actions to drive users to key flows (pricing, bookings, or search prompts).

- If you want citations visible, enable the appropriate show-source toggles before embedding.
